In class today, we learned how to make ourselves appear to be older. The end result was kind of funny to me, so I ended up really liking this type of makeup.
Steps:
The most difficulty I had, since I had previously put on ingénue makeup, was attempting to not make the creases too thick. I'm not quite sure how to work around that. The next type I were to do this type of makeup, I think that I would make the lines I made in the creases less thick. This is because when I did my makeup today, the lines were very thick.

Today, my class learned how to apply ingénue makeup. This was my second time ever putting makeup on, so I felt like a mess, especially since I ended up looking like a clown. The first time I put makeup on when I was around 5 years old, but I was playing with it.
Steps:
This type of makeup is typically used for theatre and is meant to exaggerate your features. This is because on stage, your face appears to be washed out and the audience would not be able to see most of your features. Since this was practically my first time putting on makeup, it was relatively difficult for me. I eventually got the hang of it. I applied way too much blush and way too dark of a shade of blush, though. I worked around that by blending the blush and foundation, which made it look more natural. The next time I do this sort of makeup, I will put less blush on. Today I looked like a clown stumbled onto the street. |
